I know it happened over the weekend, but this morning was the first day in weeks that I ran outside and could actually see the sidewalk. This is critical since the sidewalks in my neighborhood are dangerously uneven in places. Better yet, cars on the road could see me!
It almost made up for having to get out my gloves and headband.

Boo for time change! Something about darkness seemingly setting in about 3pm doesn't sit well with me. Besides, I'll never be up anywhere around sunrise no matter when it is at.
I'm sorry, but I'm NOT a daylight savings time fan. It's so depressing to me when it's night time at 6 p.m.! I love spring and summer when the days are longer. Then again, it makes me want to skip work and play outside all day too, lol. So maybe some good things should end at some point.
I don't like it either. Light is better later in the day so it doesn't come creeping in through my windows to wake me up early...
Don't worry folks - my excitement will only last about three weeks. Then it'll be dark before and after work and I'll have to pray I don't twist an ankle.
I guess I'll pile on...I like being able to run in the afternoon in daylight.
In the end though, I'm glad you have light to run in the morning.
Alright, Diane, you got me. When I woke up this morning at 6.30am because of a photo assignment, I was glad to open my blinds and find daylight. Especially since it was all of 39 degrees.
