The sound (or look) of silence

Where did you go, Marshall Fannin?!

I heard you were upset or frustrated about something (I missed it, I've been busy).

I went to see what I had missed over the past week and a half or so, and you were gone. No past posts, no nothing. Just a blank page (not counting the background and all that jazz).

We may not be best buddies, but some of us over here at 222 Lake St. like to see what you have to say, even if we don't agree.

(For those of you who don't know, Marshall Fannin is a pretty well-read media blogger in these parts.)

Let us know something, Marshall. Are you OK? Are you coming back?

Drop us a line and let us know what's going on.

He told me he wasn't coming back.

Yeah, I saw that on your blog. That's disappointing. In a way we felt like a little community.

Yeah I emailed him too and he pretty much said the same thing. I really hate that. Like I told him, even though we didn't always agree, it was really cool knowing he was there, kinda like a media watchdog of sorts, you know? By the way, why do we refer to him as a 'he'? lol. Do we know that for a fact that he's indeed a 'he' and not a 'she'?

Or that he/she was one person?

I refer to Marshall as a "he" because it's easier and less confusing for me.
