Well, this is really more than just a year, but it's in the same vein.Here is a hilarious list from Blender called "The 50 Worst Things Ever to Happen to Music." I loved it. There are great explanations about braided goatees (No. 30), but then some on the list apparently need no introduction, such as Fred Durst (No. 17). The magazine folks hate on tribute albums, hip-hop moguls and Van Halen's hiring practices.
Reader's also have the option of telling Blender how much they suck. All-in-all a pretty good, if snobby, read.
