Surely any hip person has already seen this

But in case you haven't, the New Orleans Jazz Fest line up is out. Well, sort of. They always just put a really difficult-to-read smattering up on the Web site. Lists are a lot easier to read than paragraphs. (Yet I'm writing a paragraph -- but you know what I mean.)

Anyhow, they'll post a more specific schedule as time for the festival gets closer. I for one will be there for at least one weekend.

That's Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz to the right. And, yes, the band will be there. Mr. Duritz and the guys put on a great show there in 2004, when I saw them.

See you there?

Counting Crows? C'mon Adam! With a list like the one for this festival surely you can come up with a better mention than that?!?!? New Orleans' own acid jazz geniuses Galactic...George Benson...the coolest white dude on the planet - Dr. John...Joss Stone- great voice and good lookin'...the incredible Jill Scott..and even Luda!

I know... I left a lot of good people off. But I was thinking you'd like to click on links better than to read me repeating what you could get elsewhere...

I'll be glad to see Lucinda Williams, too. How's that?

Adam Adam Adam...ok, who am I to judge your musical tastes? Can't wait to see Galactic again...some of the best festival music out there. Wish Medeski, Martin and Wood were coming out.

I thought I saw Legend's photo on the website...I didnt see his name and was having a brain freeze at the time and couldnt put the name with the face...that'll be a good show too. Hard to find good R&B acts these days.
